Simon Woodhouse
Simon has over 20 years Managed Solutions experience working with a number of high profile clients. In 1996 he implemented one of Europe's first Managed Service Provider (MSP) programmes into a large multinational automotive giant, covering multiple sites, working with over 125 agencies who provided 1,500 contractors throughout the client's operations. In 2006 he launched an MSP solution into a medium size Exploration & Production company in the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas (the contract was renewed 2 times with the program running for over a decade).
He has subsequently launched and managed various workforce solutions in the E&P sphere, Utilities, Nuclear and Automotive sectors.
He has developed a significant level of respect within the E&P recruitment agency supply chain, and established high levels of trust, due to his approach, knowledge and integrity.
Simon has a strong belief that Workforce Solutions Providers must work in close partnership with the client in order for the solution to be successful long-term. He has been in Outsourced recruitment for 30 years, coming from a purchasing / engineering background at Ford Motor Company.
Simon supports Arsenal and has been to a number of FA Cup and League Cup finals, not all of these are happy memories! He is also a shareholder at Southend United, but these days he keeps that quiet. We are there when Southend beat Manchester United.
He has a heart for youth work, having led various youth groups for 40 years. He has seen a couple of generations grow into young adults. "Seeing the transformation in these young people, has been a significant reward, and it has been a privilege to be part of their development. Sometimes this has been extremely challenging but then end result is invariably a positive one."
He is married with 2 daughters, who along with the family cat and his wife Liz, keep him in place, being the sole male in the household
